Stop Worrying, Start Doing

Stop_Worrying

Many times we allow ourselves to be defined by the things that happen to us in life, but that is not what is important. What’s important is what we do about what happens to us. There will be things that will happen to you, but you should try not to worry. If you find yourself worrying about something, ask yourself this question: Is there anything you can do about it? If there is, do it. You’ll feel better knowing you’ve done all you can to address the issue.

If you can’t do anything about it, then why worry about it? So many people go through life looking back instead of forward – looking over their shoulder when they should be looking over the horizon. They worry about things they didn’t do or things that might happen and the bad things that have happened. But really, there is only one thing that counts, “What am I going to do with what I have where I am today?”

So stop worrying and things that have happened or may happen and focus on doing what you can to be as successful as you can with what you have today. In the end, it’s all you can do.

How do you deal with worry?
