And with those words, President Wilson began the holiday that has since become Veterans Day. But really from the very beginning, the United States has been forged on the backs of the citizen soldier. From the battlefields of the Revolutionary War to the war zones of present day, ours is a society that owes much to the men who have served. Today, on Veteran’s Day, we honor the veteran entrepreneur by looking at 5 things you may not know about veteran-owned businesses in the United States.
