Burnt Hickory Brewery brewmaster Scott Hedeen didn’t have the option to come up with an idea and then open up the next day. For his business, as with any other, there were legal and regulatory hurdles to clear. One of the most important was finding a distributor. Not only was it a legal requirement, but it would also be an important partnership for his business. In this video, Scott talks about how he made the decision about which distributor to work with, and why the distributor for a massive brand like Coors or Budweiser might not be as good a choice for him as a smaller distributor.
