The Affordable Care Act requires ALEs (Applicable Large Employers) to offer health insurance to full-time employees. Companies with 50 or more full-time and full-time equivalent workers fit into this category. But what if you are a small business that is highly seasonal, and has more than 50 employees for a part of the year, but falls under that level the rest of the year?
